Presentation of film: Creating with the Fourth State of Matter: Plasma Artists in the Studio, at Detroit Film Theatre for the 2023 Glass Art Society Conference (Detroit, Michigan, USA)
I organized and edited a film compilation featuring members of the Plasma Art Alliance and their work with illuminated plasma sculpture: blown glass forms filled with electrified inert gases. Exploring their studio practices provides insight into the art, science and technology of plasma. The film was presented at the Detroit Film Theatre for the Glass Art Society Conference Film Festival 2023.

A Flowering of Hope, Group virtual exhibition of the Plasma Art Alliance
The Plasma Art Alliance’s virtual group exhibition, A Flowering of Hope, was intended to convey a message of hope in the midst of the global pandemic, using the theme of flowers blooming after a difficult winter. I created this short film featuring my plasma flower sculptures glowing in darkness, juxtaposed with flowers and bees in a sunlit garden.

Planetary Porcelain: Nerikomi Sculpture, Solo exhibition at Bromfield Gallery (Boston, Massachusetts, USA)
As a winner of the Bromfield Gallery’s SOLO2020 competition, I exhibited my series of planet-inspired porcelain sculptures. They are made from colored porcelain in the nerikomi technique: the surface is unglazed and unpainted, and all of the patterns and hues are achieved by mixing pigments into the clay.
